to change cost of goods sold during Post goods Receipt for return sale order

Hi All Expert,

I searched my requirement but i did not get in forum . My requirement is during return sale order , when i do PGR(post goods receipt) with mov type 653, normally cost of goods sold is = return qty* MAP at that site.

My requirement is that i want to put diffrent value other than MAP of the receiving site.

Would any one let me know if this is possible with user exit. Please let me know user exit for this case.

Like return stock is coming in DC from the store . So in this case I want to put the value of equal to MAP of store during PGR in DC against return sale order.

In our case, we have to do RGR in DC with value =return quantity*MAP of customer site(which is basically store).

Can we do with some modification like user exit etc. please let me know.

What is DC? I am sorry I dont understand DC term. Also for my under standing can you elaborate your requirement with some example. I don't want to give you some fake ideas without understanding your requirement. If you elaborate with some example may be I could help you out.

Hi,

Sorry i used short form. DC stand for distribution center. I want to make it simple now.

During Post goods issue or post goods receipt of sale order or return sale order respectively at DC, COGS(cost of goods sold/return) value is equal to qty multiplied by MAP(moving average price of the DC in this ).

Can i pass other  value  instead of MAP for COGS calculation.

Dear Santosh

I understood your requirement. This is not possible this is not recommended. At the time of PGI system will pick cost price from material master and I don't know any exit or enhancement to bypass this neither I will recommend this. Can you share your business requirement and scenario why you want to bypass this standard functionality? May be you get some other better idea from here.
