hi,
I am in the process of configuring CCMS availability monitoring with the following information
CEN: Solution Manager system
Monitored System : ECC Sandbox
I have registered the CCMSPING in ECC Sandbox successfully.
I have also added the system in RZ21 --> Monitored system.
when i perform a CCMSPing test, the status of the ECC Sanbox is returned sucessfully.
CCMSPING: Test Results
Available Systems - CCMSPING call successful
Failed CCMSPING Calls
SB1 CCMSPING.<ECC Sandbox System>.99
CCMSPING communication error: Cannot access message server
But what are the steps i have to follow, to get an email, when the ECC Sandbox is down.
Hi Balaji,
Fallow the below steps
Create Central Auto Reaction Method in Solman Prod client
Check RFC connections to satellite systems from SMSY
Create CSMREG user
Create CSMCONF file
Install CCMSPING agent on Solman server
Copy CSMCONF file to satellite systems
Install SAPCCM4X agent on Satellite systems
Configure Availability monitoring
Assign Auto Reaction Method in Solman for Availability
Configure Central System Monitoring
Assign Threshold values for events based on your requirement.
Configure Central System >> Assign Central Auto Reactions
Then Check if alerts are triggered as per configured thresholds
Thanks,

Hi
To get alerts when the unexpected situations happens in the system register using SAPCCM4X for abap SAPCCMSR for java.
Not using CCMSPING.You better search in net using "Auto reaction Method configuration using CCMS agents",u will get SIM(Videos) files which gives step by step configuration to get the alerts.
To play these file u require to install SIM player which can be downloaded from Net
Thanks
