Closed asset fiscal year

Hi Gurus,

We have already closed the asset fiscal year of 2012 in AJAB.

We have a purchase requisition for an asset that was dated November 2012. This January 2013, the approver is trying to Release the purchase requisition but a warning message appeared saying that: "You cannot post to this asset (fiscal year already closed)".

Is it okay to proceed and ignore the warning message? Will there be any problem if we release the PR despite the warning message?

Hi Friend

Ignore the warning message and release it, it only  a warning message saying that you could not post in that particular period, you have option to post in new year ie in 2013

In OAAQ, year 2012 is already a closed fiscal year.
