How to add hp laserjet 1018 device type in sap

Hi all senior,

We are using printer HP laser jet 1018 module but when i select device type, i cant see printer name.

so how can add this printer name in Device type? any one give me solution in step by step.

and Which device type is suitable for this printer module.

Hi,

You can install new device type in the system. Please check SAP note 1103422.

Hi

You can use the device type  HPLJ4  which will already available in your system. You can also use SWIN or SAPSWIN device Type . Please set these device types and try to test the printout.

As well as please ensure that you have updated your Operating system drivers up to date.
