Activating fields in DGP3 for phrases

Hi

There are a number of fields within DGP3 where there is no ability to add a list of phrases. When you go into the "Edit Phrase Set-to-Attribure Assignment" function and select the relevant attribute e.g. Packaging Group, you get the error 'No phrase-enabled characteristic is available for class SAP_EHS_1025_003".

When I go into CL02 to look at this class, it doesn't show it so it doesn't appear to exist.

Do I need to create these classes each time, or is there a step in the config that I've missed.

Thanks for any help in advance !

Cheers

Alistair

    Hi Alistair,

This problem occurs, when you are running with the new environment.

you have to run couple of transactions, to generate standard phrase sets and activate phrasing.

Before that you have to adopt standard specification database structure.

Use CGB7, to adopt standard data base structure.

Generate standard phrase sets, using CGBB.

    Activate phrasing - DGP9

Generate standard phrase sets - DGP10

After the above activities, run match up master data CGCZ.

Hope your problem get rectifies after following these steps.

    Regards

    kamal
