Kindly inform if for raising alerts for rule sets, we need to use SAP Inbox what are the config we need to do
Hi Indraneel,
in your rule set you can use the standard activity function ALERT_CREATE to trigger alerts through the alert framework. Please check the activity documentation for further information. There are some customizing activities to define e.g. the contents and the recipients of the alerts:
SPRO -> Event Management -> Reactions to Event Messages -> Define Alert Framework Connection . Please also check the documentation of these customizing activities.

There are two activities:
One for the alert framework with that you can send e.g. emails, sms and create entries in the alert inbox.
The second one is for starting a Workflow either in the EM system or which makes more sense in a different system/ERP, TM etc.). With this activity you can start any existing workflow. More information is available in the activity documentation.
