Unable to logon to Web Dynpro Content Administartor

Hi,

I'm having a problem where I am unable to logon to the Webdynpro Content Administartor. I am using the J2EE_ADMIN user.

When I enter the password nothing happens.

If I enter the wrong password I get the following error "user authentication failed". I am able to logon to the visual administrator and sld with the same user id and password.

It is not locked.

I have also tried activating the SAP* user, but this has the same problem.

Any ideas?

Regards

Andy

Hi Andrew,

This is problem with WAS SP 9. There is no problem from your side. If you want to access Content administrator, then open SLD first then in same browser open Content administrator, now as you have already logged in it will not ask for login again and take you inside.

Hi Bhavik,

Thanks for the info. I've managed to logon using the sld connection first as you suggested.

We are currently on WAS SP11 in both ABAP and JAVA, plus our DEV, QAS and PROD environments are the same and this problem only happens in PROD.

Andy

Have you tried adding all of the roles to the j2ee_admin user id.

Hi Rich,

Thanks for your reply. The J2EE_ADMIN id currently has SAP_J2EE_ADMIN role assigned. I've also set-up my own ID with the sam role, this ID also has SAP_ALL and the same problem occurs.

Andy

Thanks to everyone for your help.

I have now solved the problem.

The SAPLogonTicketKeypair under services > keystorage was wrong.

Andy.
