Hello Experts,
Need help in Maintenance Order settlement.
I have created mainteance order in PM, mentioned the equipment number in to and which has cost center in to it. Also there is one responsible cost center in to maintenance order. I have two questions.
1. When I try to settle the cost booked in to this mainteance order I getting error message as "Settlemtn rule not maintained for the order" but as I understand while settling the order, system will take the cost center from the equipment master which is attached to the order. Is there any configuration setting needs to be done. Or am I missing any step before settlement. ( we want to run this settlement each month)
2. What is the responsible cost center in Maintenace order, is it mandetory field, will cost be booked to this cost center?
I have gone through few threads from SDN, but not able to trace the exact error.
Please advise.

Hi,
Please check Have you assigned your Maintnance order type to settelement profile in KOT2.
Then go IW32 , and in Go to tab there in option settlement rule click on that select the recever categroy as costr center and Give recever cost center name for which you want to settle your maintnance cost save. Regarding Settlement profile sit with youR CO guy .

Dear Joshi,
As per the relation between functional location and cost center system will pick the cost center and it will appear in the location tab of the PM order in IW33 for the same cost center settlement rule will create and appears in the settlement rule.
The settlement profile needs to assign in order type, please check the same.
