TimeOUT Short dump while accessing WebReport.

A Web Report is taking too much time to open and timing out with a short dump see below details,

The Report was working very fine few days back,

any ideas please.

Information on where terminated

The termination occurred in the ABAP program "SAPLRSDRS" in

"FETCH_DATA_OPENSQL".

The main program was "SAPMHTTP ".

The termination occurred in line 121 of the source code of the (Include)

program "LRSDRSF04"

of the source code of program "LRSDRSF04" (when calling the editor 1210).

Hi Shashi,

Has the quantity of data in your cube increased abruptly. What I mean is has it become 2 or more times than the earlier size.

Hi Shashi,

Try to do following checks

1> How much time the report used to take?

2> Is there any increase in data volume recently?

3> How many records query is trying to pull?

4> Aggregation done, (if any aggregates exist)

5> Statistics are up to date? (performance tab check)

6> Indexes & Aggregate indexed are green (performance tab check)

Based on above checks, perhaps, you have to go for building some aggregates.

Hi Shashi,

Run the web report in RSRT2 and check for any short dump.

Does the LISTCUBE for the cube return the values. Check for that also.

hi dinesh,

the strange thing this problem is only few reports on the same cube and also to a specific users, rsrt2 goes and hangs some where in list_notify method in get_data method..

Yes Rohini, the last status bars just keeps trying to pull data...
