WEBI Webservice refresh problem

Hello,

I am publishing webservice from a table on WEBI report which is based on BEX Query.

While testing the webservice, i saw that it is not getting the values that i entered from WEBI prompt which is belong to the BEX query.

It always gets the last document refresh.

I am setting the refresh parameter to 1 and other parameters to 0 (last document refresh, last user refresh) but i see same values.

Where can be the problem ? Webservice always gets the last document refresh.

BOBJ 4.0 patch level 17.

are you pulling this in a dashboard or just a webi report?

i installed sp4 fp3 patch 3, and i will try again. will let you inform .

Hello Bilen,

When you test a BI service, it won't accept the WebI prompt which belongs to BEx query, it may display message as Index:0,Size:0. But it'll work fine in dashboards.

When you are using the BI Web service in dashboard use Web service query (query as web service) connection and import the wsdl url. Bind refresh parameter to excel cell which has TRUE value. And other parameters to excel cell with FALSE value. For passing prompt values, bind necessary excel cells to Prompt parameters in "Input Values". It will retrieve the real time data based on Prompt selctions and authorization.
