Experts,
I'm working with SBO 8.81 PL9 and found that if I create a UDT and then link this to a UDF on the Production Order header, the define new value is there, but when I click on this it will not open the UDT, but populate the UDF with 'Define New'.....
Any idea of what I might be doing wrong?
Thanks,
Marli

Kennedy,
I first created a UDT called SES_VARIANCE_CLASS with Object Type - No Object. I populated the 1st 2 lines in the UDT.
I then created a UDF on the Production Order Title called SES_VarClass:
Type Alphanumeric
Lenght 10
Structure Regular
I set the Linked Table as SES_VARIANCE_CLASS
When I now open a Production Order I see the following in the UDF SES_VarClass:
4 options:
1. leave the field blank
2. Enter the first value I populated in UDT
3. Enter the second value I populated in the UDT
4. Choose Define New - when I choose this, instead of opening the UDT so that I can enter a new Value, it poulates the UDF with the text 'Define New'
Screenshot before I enter the value with options: http://screencast.com/t/H8bTKXod7e
Screenshot after I choose define new: http://screencast.com/t/CbJOgytQqWl
Thanks,
Marli
Hi Marli,
Follow these steps below.
1. Create a No Object Type UDT.
2. Create UDF.Alphanumeric 30 And in that UDF setup window you will find Set Link Table option.
3. Select this UDT int his Option.
4. Check in this form where you created this UDT and you find drop down with Define New Option
Click on the define new it will works
