Duplicate line item in MIGO

Hi,

MIGO level duplicate line items are allowing to post the document.

Ex.If we receive material A 1000 nos, i can make MIGO by duplicating

material A, 4 times 250 each. how to change in configuration for duplicate entries??

not clear what your problem is , system automatically splitting lines or is user splitting it and you want to restrict it?

Hi,

In one MIGO document, the same line item should not allow to enter the same document.

EG: From PO line No:10 should not allow to to enter more than one time in one MIGO document.

please give some idea to resolve the issue

unfortunatly it is still not clear to me.

If I start with MIGO, then I enter the PO number as reference and SAP gives me all open  items from the PO as proposal.

Where you go to add another item 10 from the PO?

it is not a issue , behavior is as per designed standard functionality . Splitting of lines is allowed for following reasons

1. you want to enter single shipment  in 2 different locations
2. one shipment contains different batches
3. you want to enter same shipment in blocked stock and unrestricted stock partially.

now even after knowing so many useful applications , if you still want to restrict it hiding distribute qty , icon in migo via OMJX would suffice.

EndUser is splitting the material into two line items. this needs to blocked..

Where we need to set control for MIGO transaction for same line item not to allow more than one time to enter in MIGO screen with the combination of PO....

Where we need to set the setting in OMJX???

you can create a txn variant in SHD0 by hiding the distribute quantity push button..

and attach this variant to a z txn in se93. if you really should do it, check the impact on curtailing so many useful fns as mentioned by AG
