want to scrap the material blocked stock against the project

I want to scrap the blocked stock to against the Project.

I tried 555 but this for special stock.

Hi,

Its better bring blocked stock of material to unstricted use stock with t.code: MB1B with movement type 343 and then, then scrap the material with 551 movement type.

Why not, its possible to scrap the project through 551 Q? you can see the WBS element in "where" tab below the movement type field. if you dont see, go to OMJJ - select 551 movement - field selection(enjoy transaction) -add new entry and add field PS_PSP_PNR(WBS element) with mandatory option - save.

Post the good issue. A material document and an accounting document will be generated to record below results in the system.

• the relevant stock is reduced
• the value of the scrapped material is posted from the stock account to a scrap account
• the costs of the scrapped material are assigned to the cost center specified.

first transfer that to unrestricted stock and then to scrap....we cant scrap the material from blocked stock.....wts your business requirement?

Dear Vikas,

We procured some material under WBS  but in PO we can't select acct. assignment as "P" then the material will not come in stock , so to bring the material in stock we purchase this without "P" and then we issue in reservation against the WBS.

Now few materials are rejected by the QC & we cant send them to vendor coz of change in drawing so we want to scrap that material under WBS material. how to do that?

I checked as per the solution you recommended but its not working.

your stock is anonymous in your warehouse because your PO does not have an accoutn assginment P.

so you can scrap the stock like any other warehouse stock with 555 directly from blocked stock status.

If you want charge the project with the costs of that "scrap" then  you have to move it from blocked stock to unrestricted stock and subsequently  post a goods issue with 221 movement  to WBS to consume it to your project.
