Hi,
Is there anyway that whenever we need to post a file, can it be named to our requirement at the receiver Communication Channel. I.E suppose i need my file to be posted as FILE followed by the current date in DDMMYY format, can it be done.
If we add a time stamp the file has a name like FILE20050307-102755-224.txt. Can this be altered as per the scenario mentioned?
Regards,
Shabarish
Hi,
there've been some rumors that from SP12 dynamic filenames will be available
so if you want to stay in standard maybe you can wait for SP12
you can also check this thread about using the OS command with the file receiver:
if you consider the second option then please also look at this:
these are the two out of four options i can think of:)
(the other two are: extending the standard file adapter with your own module, using java proxy and creating your own file ftp sending inside)

michal
