blacklist for e-mail campaigns

I would like to build a "blacklist" that includes business partners who do not want to get contacted via e-mail when I send out a marketing campaign.

Does anyone know how I can do that without inactivating or blocking this business partner at all. I just want to block him for marketing campaigns.

Hi,

you could determine which BPs do not want to be contacted through some records associated to the BP master data (e.g. through marketing permission standard data, see http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm700_ehp01/helpdata/en/ae/41f03860a64e23bd519b913d61e77e/frameset.htm ). Then, when you create your target groups for your campaign in segmentation, you should exclude those BPs from your target groups, in order to avoid contacting them.

Just to add that Laura said.

When using marketing permissions it's not necessary to take care about them. The system will automatically correct the target group according to MP.
