How to set limits in Pricing Conditions

Hello,

I am new to SAP MM. In my organization users are showing ignorance while punching figures in pricing condition. I have created a pricing condition for freight in percentage and Freight in actual.

Now I want to set limit for both the conditions. I tried using Assign Limit option too but of no use.

Can anybody suggest how can I find a solution to this problem.

Hi All,

I already did this process but could not got the desired results. May be I am entering wrong values. Can any one suggest what values i should enter for limiting Freight % Condition.

Also suggest what parameters I should use while creating Freight % condition type.

Hi,

Maintain the entries as follows

C.Typ --- Condition type CalTyUnitLower Limit Upper Limit --Per ---UoM

FRA1 -

Freight %--

A%
20

30
---- Blank---Blank

Here 20 to 30 % is your limit so when you create PO and enter 15 % or 35% value in FRA1 system will give error message

Hi,

Thanks for your valuable suggestion.

But in our case we require that the value in absolute freight condition should not be more than 10%.

Can you please suggest how can I configure it.

Hello,

You can set a lower/upper limit for condition values using menu SPRO->Materials management->Purchasing->Conditions->Define Price Determination Process->Define Limits. It is possible to set limit for absolute value (Calculation type C) and Percentage condition types (Calculation type A).

Thanks,

Hi,

You can set this in customizing.

Spro->MM>Purchasing->Conditions>Define price determination process-->Define limits

Here you can set the upper limt and lower limit for the condition types.

Dear Amit,

Yes you can certainly achieve that follow the path and do necessary settings

Go to T. Code OLME ->Conditions ->Define Price Determination Process ->Define Limits

Here maintain entry for freight condition type with Lower and Upper limit ->Save

Now try to create a new PO and enter freight value out side the limit you will get the Error message

Test and revert if you have any issues
