Hi All,

After closing the existing MM period through MMPV, system is resetting the previous periods. Client was copied in the month of 10/11.

Eg: Now in MARV - Period for the respective company code is 09/11 and 10/11

After closing this previous periods till 02/12, MARV shows 01/12 and 02/12.

After two days, MARV shows 09/11 and 10/11. It occurs frequently. We are unable to find the reason for resetting the same?

Please let me know your inputs / or Any guess????

Hi,

Once you close a period , it is not possible to reopen the period in the production environment.

how ever you can have the previous period to get posted.

does the company code you work with are done with any transactions?

MARV table by itself will not get changed .

Does it changed through the config which will be in material master at SPRO ?

No, in Configuration also, it cannot be changed. previous period will be greyed out. It has been changed by some other means. Is there any possibility of resetting the periods due to Client Copy?

Hi

Please check, Last Changed by, Date & Time in MARV table.

If any Transport Request (containing the Co.Code settings including MARV table) is Scheduled as background job in repeated intervals also this can happen in test systems.

Hello Ragavendra,

I am also facing the same issue...

Can you please let me know what are the other config or customizations that may impact this data in MARV.

In our case the MARV data was changed and the change is also inculded in a TR, and we transported the same TR to quality also.

Now in quality also the periods were changed.

What will be the other causes that may affect this data of MARV.

Thanks in advance,

Satya

Once I have closed the existing periods, it is working fine with the new periods 01/12 and 02/12. But after some period, system is resetting to 09/11 and 10/11. Again we need to do MMPV.

We are unable to find the reason for this.
