Hi,

To give different access to different users, they are required to be distinguished amongst each others, which is done by using teams. Otherwise the BPC system would not come know about restrictions. For that, if you create teams with different access and assign users then you can restrict them on packages. Else, as mentioned above i dont think there is some other option.

Hope this clarifies further.

Hi,

Yes! You can do that.

While creating a package you can select Task type as User Package to make it enable for users.

What ever the packages you saved under specific team, all the members under that team can access these packages by having proper task profile(Execute).

Hope it helps...

Hi

Thanks for reply. As of now i did not implemented teams. From that application one user may run two other user may run three. Can we restrict package at user level.

Hi,

I do not think you can restrict by user. Either reports / input schdules or package you can restrict only by teams.

Hi Mahi,

You cannot have authorizations to selective DM packages. Either a user has access to all, or none.

If you have teams, then the access can be limited a bit further. A DM which is saved in a particular team folder will be accessible to only the team members.

I am afraid that there is no other alternative, if you dont have teams.

Hope this helps.
