Hi,
Is there any way to increase the depth of the Org Chart iview under Who's Who. Right now in our scenario its displaying the hirarchy based on organization unit. All employees under a organization unit are displayed directly under the organization.
Suppose a organization unit has 2 managers and each manager has 2 employees reporting to him. In the Org Chart all the 6 employees (2 Managers and 4 employees) are getting displayed directly under the Organization Unit (as shown below).
Organization Unit
->Manager1
->Employee1
->Employee2
->Manager2
->Employee3
->Employee4
Can we increase the hirarchy of the display as shown below:
Organization Unit
-> Manager1
-> -> Employee1
-> -> Employee2
-> Manager2
-> -> Employee3
-> -> Employee4
Is it fasible in Who's Who Org Chart. If not is there any other standard application through which we can display the Organization Chart in multi level hirarchy.
Regards
Deb
FM HRXSS_ORG_GET_ORGCHAR is called
In addition to this, would like to inform you that DC involved the Java
DCs involved in this case are ess~org to get the Organizational
information. And ess~wiw for 'Employee search' application.
Anyways, I have analysed the issue. The FM:HRXSS_ORG_GET_ORGCHART is
called from the frontend to retrieve the Org Chart information. Within
this Function module, there is a call to the Function module "EVAL_DOWN"
via the FM: "EVAL_INITIAL". Within the function module:EVAL_DOWN the
objects are sorted in descending order by default.
can you customise this using depth property in OADP?
The depth property in the object selection rule is used to determine to
which depth the organization tree to be displayed in the iview at the
beginning.

check the evaluation path and correct it accordingly

Hi Siddharth,
Thanks for atleast letting us know that it might be possible.
The OADP settings are realted to MSS and HR admin. How can be configure the same for ESS Org Chart?
I have check the org chart iview but I could not see any property where its reffering to any Org group/view. I have also checked in SPRO the different org groups, there also I could not locate anything realted to ESS.
Can you please guide me here regarding which org group to modify for ESS Org Chart.
Thanks
Debasish
no, you'll have to go for Nakisa in that case I think or a custom development
