    More information is required-

Version of Crystal Reports with detail patch level?

    Web or Win app?

Are you passing the parameter values from the code?

Does the prompts show up when the report is previewed in the designer?

This might happen because of broken promt files in the CrystalReportsViewer folder.

    Try installing crystal reports.

As you are migrating the application, i would suggest you to open the report in [Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2010|] and see if the report prompts for the parameter values.

    Hope it helps,

The report has been converted to lastest version automatically. I can see all the changes made automatically in the pending changes window in VS. And I selected all those changes and undo the changes so that version control TFS get the server version and replaced my local changes.
