plan values in KKAJ, however not showing the same in standard reports.

Hello,

I have issue like, when results analysis (KKAJ) is executed, for one of the WBS element I am seeing the value in the column Plan Cost Valuation for a period. and now when i am checking the reports like s_alr_87013571 and CJI4 etc. the plan value is showing 'zero'.

why is this happening? because of this revenue accounts are hitting badly.

Can I know, what all the things drive the plan values for a project. my knowledge is using

1. by Purchase orders. (materials)

2. by CJR2 Activity planning (labor)

are there any other things that drive or automatically update the plan values.

Issue not with the plan values. It could be with your valuation method of result anlysis.

Result analysis is used to calculate

1) wip

2) cos

3) revenue (CLRV)

and there are others heads which are calculated base on these above items. Now there differeent valuation methods used for the calculations. we have to decide what is required calculation and adopt the same. If you can tell me why you are using result analysis. what is required output. then i shall throw some light on it.

About your issue : To calculate above items , systems considers planned cost and planned revenue . if they are not available , then system derives them from availble information. And all these depend on what kind of valuation method is used there. you revenue account is hitting becuse you are capitalizing your revenue or your revenue in excess of billing.

So, give me more details

Valuation method of RA key,

Whether it is in expert mode or not. if in expert mode what is setting they done.

Please tell me what kind of ouput you are looking for.

I want to how the Plan Valuation Cost for a period change. what are the factors responsible for change in the plan values.

we are using the RA to calculate revenue for projects.

until last period the revenue in surplus was zero. plan cost (cum) was 90,000. everything is fine until this part.

now, in this period the Plan Cost Valuation for period is 100,000. So, now total Plan Cost Valuation (cum) becomes 190,000.

so, when calculating the revenues (using POC) we are seeing lot of revenue surplus.

the main question is what have driven the Plan Cost Valuation for period. where to find it?

In okg3 we are using Expert mode, there are three status here.

when I run KKAJ for period 10. I got the below values.

Plan revenue (CUM): 210,000

Plan cost (CUM): 195,000

Plan revenue (per): 0

Plan Cost (per): 105,000

COS (CUM):90,000

COS (per): 1000

Actual cost :

Actual revenue:

when I run KKAJ for period 9. I got the below values.

Plan revenue (CUM): 210,000

Plan cost (CUM): 90,000

Plan revenue (per): 0

Plan Cost (per): 0

COS (CUM):89,000

COS (per): 1000

Actual cost :

Actual revenue:

these are the values we have for Results analysis. what do you believe driving these plan cost for that period. when I checking the reports I am not able to see anything.
