Need to migrate SLD from Dev system to Prod system

Hi Experts,

Our SLD is configured in our XI Development system.Now we want to move this SLD to our XI Production system.

Please let me know how can achive the same.

Hi,

You need to Export from the DEV SLD your Object that require to be transported (TS, BS, etc..).

Then, import files in the PRD SLD.

You can achieve this, also recreation the Objects directly in PRD SLD (but the first solution is the better approach).

Just to add to the above reply, make sure that both your Dev and Production SLD are on the same versions (including the CR and CIM versions)

Hi,

Just to add one point here. We do not have any SLD in XI Prod as of now. So if I export and import the SLD from XI Dev to XI Prod, will it work with out any issues? Also, what all are changes I should do after the export is done.

After importing BS/TS from XI Dev to XI Prod, you need also to create new Business Systems (like "BS_PRD") and assign them to the imported BS (from SLD Development) as Trasport Target.
