Translation of Smartforms using SE64

Hello,

I'm using the transaction SE64 to translate my Smartforms.

But, when I modify my smartform and active the new version, all my translation is lost.

Do you think it's a SAP bug or I forget to do something ?

We must use SE63 instead of SE64

Hi,

I am also experienceing the same problem, even I am using SE63. Other thing I observerd is that I translated into six europian languages including german from english. If I change the smartform, save and activate. I am loosing all translations except for german. If you any clue, please let us know.

I found some thing on one of the note <b>392002</b>

2. During translation using SE63, the form whose texts are to be translated can no longer be processed using the Transaction SMARTFORMS. The form builder loads all texts in all languages, so that the translation transaction SE63 works with the texts from the database, though the form builder has still loaded the 'old' texts. If the form is now activated in the form builder, the texts which have just been translated are overwritten again on the database. For this reason, you should always end the other transaction to ensure that you do not get any inconsistencies.

Here, What is 'end the other transaction' ? Your help is appriciated.

Hi,

when u retrive the data from tables use where spras = sy-langu. otherwise it gives the result in degault language(it gets the data dynamically)
