COGM IS NOT PICKING THE STD PRICE

Hi Guru's,

My client following these 3 scenarios MTS,MTO and ETO.

In ETO we have Leading Orders as well as Production Orders. It is related to Project Stock.

E.g: I have 2101100013 it is the Leading Order,

Under this we have Sub Production Orders like 21011000152,156,153,154,160,161.

1. Sub Production Order = 2101100152

This Order Planned Price shown in Production Order Itemization is 26,007,

But Material Master for this Order Price is 26,700.

Here, at the time of GR it is picking 26,007 not for material master price i.e. 26,700.

So, here COGM is = 26,007.

But it is wrong, Actually the COGM value is = 26,700.

I checked the Display Changes in Material Master there is no changes of the Price for last 2 periods.

At the time of GR some orders are picking std price but some orders are not picking the std price as COGM.

Why system behave like this,

Please any one can guide me how to solve this problem.....

Hi Naidu Anna

This is standard behaviour... The Planned price of the Prod order is the one considered for GR... If that is not available, then the system goes for Mat Master price or Std price

Once you do the GR, the system creates a stock segment in QBEW table with that price.. Any subsequent GR that you do now, will be valuated @ 26007 for that prod order

If you wanna change it, then change the price from MR21 for Mat + Project or sales order
