Hi,

For my looks like network issue.

Are you able to ping the host?

What about result of telnet with port?

Are entries at services file (UNIX: /etc/services, NT: <windir>/system32/drivers/etc/services),like >> sapgw00 3300/tcp ?

Best regards,

Peter

Hi Peter, yes i can ping to SLD this correct. Yes add sapgw00 3300 in the /etc/host. the telnet no found.

command run:

telnet (IP_SLD) 01

telnet 192.168.0.12: 01

Peter, I have question. The user SLDDSUSER belongs to SLD Server or Satelite System???

example:

SLD Server: SOLMAN J2EE

Satelite System: Portal 7.0

Hi,

User SLD - doesn't matter on name belogns to system where SLD is configured and running. SO I guess you have SLD on Solman.

In case you didn't configured SLD on portal you have to set up on portal on visual admin choose Cluster > Server >Services > SLD Data Supplier > tab Runtime > HTTP Settings and add data of your Solman's SLD hostname port and user (SLDDUSER)

In case of you have SLD also on portal, go to SLD page e.g. http://<hostname>:5<system_number>00/sld

On the SLD initial page, choose Administration and in the section Server > Data Suppliers.

add data of your Solman SLD

Check web http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/ee/74b3407e73c57fe10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm

Hello Eli

First of all the user which you are trying to connect should be present on the Solution manager with atleast SAP_BC_JSF_COMMUNICATION_RO role to it. If not add J2ee administration priveleges to that user.

Then as explained you need to provide inputs of User, hostname of solution manager and password at SLD Supplier in Visual administrator.

Then test connection if that works you are good to go.

Then when this connection works create Business system in SLD and you are all set.

Logon in the portal and open Visual administrator

Peter, show configuration SLD Data Supplier:

Hosts: Hostname_SLD

port: 50100

User: SLDDUSER

password: ¨¨¨¨¨¨ (change password for me)

check CIMClient test: "Failed to generate and test CIMOMclient object"

Hi Eli,

You will be get this error because of multiple reasons.

a.Particular system is not configured properly in SLD

b.System might be down while testing JCO Connections.

c.Logon group might not configured properly.

Hope this will helps.
