delivery from warehouses having Multiple location

hi all

I am facing a problem while making delivery from sale order. in delivery form I have 2 items with different warehouses which are having different locations. It is giving error

"Selecting multiple locations is not permitted [Delivery - Rows - Location Code][line: 2] [Message 439-237]"

I have searched the forum regarding this problem & I found no solution. My question is this

If I have 70 or 80 warehouses all over India and I want that while delivering the goods,

I want to release these goods from nearest warehouse of the Customer and also according to item availability.

sometime I have more than 500 items in sale order

Please help me on this

Hello,

How did you created sales order with different location in SAP ? because when you make new sales order with multi location then it shows error for Multi location.

Hello Anu,

you can only split Purchase Order if user have selected multi warehouse with different location.because there may will be different shipping address or tax configuration.

ex. if user selected two warehouse in Purchase order then SAP make 2 PO with segment 1 and 2 , original become cancel with different shipping address.

And if user want to same in Delivery document then how it possible both address single document print out.

Hi Annu,

What is your localization and version? We use multi-warehouses that represent different locations and have no problem moving a SO to Delivery with different WH/locations.

Hi Annu,

u cannot do multiple shipping at the same time... the location should be same for all items... for example u can ship items in chennai or delhi not both the items @ the same time....u remove the items that have different location and add or make all the items in the same location..
