Reversal of asset scrap

Hello,

We have scrapped some 500 assets in one transaction, with one FI document posted. But now it is realised that one of those assets, scrapping was done by mistake, and hence we need to reverse that for that asset. Since in asset master, now the deactivation date is populated and it is not editable as per our config, it doesnt even allow to post any other transaction on top of that. Is there any other way, o

Hi Balla

Option 1

You can open the field deactivation date from the asset screen layout... (IMG > AA > Master Data > Screen layout)

there after go to AS02 and remove the deactivation date....

Or Else,

Option 2

create a new asset and do an adhoc posting from ABSO using Trans type 100.... Specify the New asset here and the Off set account as the Scrap account which was Dr during the scrapping of the original asset
