Crystal Reports vs XCelsius

Hi,

I am very new to SAP and am looking to get some training in SAP Crystal Reports and XCelsius as a way to enter into the SAP world.

Can somebody please explain what the main difference between SAP Crystal Reports and XCelsius or point me in the right direction to get more details. I have worked with InetSoft Style reports before developing Reports and Dashboards but not with Crystal reports.

Also I am wondering if its feasible to install Crystal Reports and XCelsius on a laptop hopefully using a simple datasource like Oracle or MySql. I would like to see if I can get my hands dirty. Also if you have any recommendations for books I would appreciate that. Currently I am looking at books from SAP Press.

Refer the below site for more information on Crystal Reports and Xcelsius.

In the left side of the section select the particular category and go through the documents.
