Hi,
There are some properties of a dimension that I do not need to define together with all other properties, such as PARENTH1 (or PARENTH? as I can have multiple hierarchies) but which I simple add as a column in the Excel sheet when adding dimension members. Is there a list of these properties in BPC?
Thanks
Hi Arnold,
As per my understanding, I dont think there is any other property which is not required to be maintained in the property list.
Hope this helps,

Arnold - One thought is to look at your APPSHELL application set and model your requirements from what has been populated in Appshell. Hope this helps. The BPC Admin Guide does describe the required properties, starting on page 27.
available at this link: https://websmp208.sap-ag.de/instguidescpm-bpc
Click on your version in the left pane, then find the Admin Guide. BPC 7 SP3 is the latest Admin Guide.

Thanks everyone, not the answer I was looking for but I guess such lists don't often exist

You can find a list of some of the common properties of each dimension in the Admin Help.
To find a list of the current properties you can use the admin tool to check the current dimension properties.
