I am refunding a portion of a service fee for an active garnishment. I have created the refund and processed an off-cycle payment for the refund. When I run the regular payroll the refunded amount is being taken back.
I tried this same scenario in Dev but instead of processing an off-cycle, I let the regular payroll process run and the refund worked as expected.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Mark
Arti - the refund was processed thru IT0216 and then an off-cycle payroll to pay it to the employee.
Example for the regular payroll. The refund is $25 and the service fee is $5. The refund has been paid back to the employee via the off-cycle. The next regular payroll run then pulls in the $5 service fee plus an additional $25 fee, same amount as the refund.

Hello,
How did you process the refund? The Garnishment refunds are processed thru IT0216 and then run OC Payroll to pay it to employee.
Now, in regular payroll, are you sure it is re-taking the same refund? If the garnishment is still active for regular payroll then the service charge is for active garnishment and not coming from refund.
