Employee Subgroup Grouping for Time Quota Types Country Specific

Former Member

Hello All,

I am configurating quotas for numerous countries and I am using RPTQTA00. Employee groups and subgroups in Personnel Administration are now the same across all countries, where as in 4.7 they were unique for each country, for example

ee group = 1 means employee then

ee sugroups are

1 = executive

2 = salaried

3 = hourly

These ee subgroups in the old system were different where as Salaried could have been ee subgrp 31 in Belgium but for US is 2. In 4.7, Belgium Salaried ee was ee subgrp 31 and now in 6.0 is being changed to 2 like US in PA. In 4.7, Salaried quotas for Belgium was configured as ee subgrp grping for quota = 1. All quotas for Belgium for Salaried were configured in quota grping 1 in 4.7. Now all countries are sharing the same ee subgrps, instead of Belgium using 31 for Salaried they will use like US ee subgrp 2 Salaried. The problem with this is that table V_503_E Employee Subgroup Grouping for Time Quota Types, although is asking for the country, it is not country specific. Every time I go into Belgium and try to give the ee subgrps a different ee subgrp grouping for quotas for Salaried ees, it overwrites the grping I had made for US. I have for US ee subgrpg grouping for quotas for salaried = 2, where in Belgium it needs to be 1 but the table is not allowing me to keep

each country unique.

This is a big problem since I have several countries with their own specific quota groupings.

Please help, thanks,

yes you are right with same groupings! let me explain

Yes the quota does have a limitation of 99, But does an employee

has so many quotas at a time in ESG and PSG?

the new table T503Z to allow the assignment of one EE group/subgr.

combination to several countries.

So, the MOLGA field in table T503 is not used any more. (Please have

a look to the 3.1G release note "Country assignment for

employee group/employee subgroup".) For your information I have

also attached note no. 137197.

So, the countries allowed for a certain EG/ESG-combination are listed

in T503Z. That means, that when you do a change in T503 (any country

modifier) the change will be done for all countries.

The groupings in T503 are country independent values. If you need

a combination of EE group/subgroup for two countries we expect them

to have the same groupings, otherwise you would not use the same

EE group/subgroup, but instead create a new (sub)group-combination.

The table being valid for more than one country does not mean that it

is valid for every country - that's why the restriction there does make

sense.

Thus, if you have the same groupings for different countries, any

change for a country will affect the other countries which use the

same combination of employee group/subgroup.

Otherwise, you would haveto use different combinations for different

countries.

Hi,

When I go to this table it prompts me for the specific country but when I configure it for one country it overwrites what I did for the last country.
