How to define batches in OD items from HU

Dear gurus,

In the shipping the user uses materials with batch management. There are steps of activities below:

1) He creates Outbound Delivery and enters quantity and storage location manually, but he doesnu2019t enter batches in all items.

2) He packs materials in OD (Shift+F6) and uses HU created before. The HU has materials with BATCHES.

3) After choosing appropriate HU, batches (from HU) in items OD are NOT transferred into delivery position

4) Then user tries to do Goods Issue and of course error message occurs : u201CThe batches are not defined for delivery item 000010 VL605u201D

Is it possible to define batches in OD items from HU?

Hi,

Batches are not at the HU level. They are always at the Delivery Item level. You can enter the Batch number directly on the Delivery and then pack them using HUs.
