MRP Type "MRP, fixing type -1-" ....

Experts,

I set MRP Type "MRP,fixing type -1-", with Planning time fence 40 days. With these setting the system automatically firms pld. orders before the fixing horizont determind by planning time fence.

The pld. orders firmed by the system do not have the checkmark for "Firming, Plnd order" if display the pld. order via double click out of MD04.

If I manualy firm the pld. order this checkmark will be set.

Both let me say types of pld. orders the automatic firmed and manually firmed carry an asterix after firming in MD04 to flag that they are firmed.

So my question is there a way to visulize if the firmed pld. order is automatically firmed or manually firmed in MD04 or somewhere else ?

when pld ord is firmed automatically by MRP it has an * but when you check the planned order in change/ display from MD04 the firming checkbox is not enabled.

However if it is firmed manually by changing order qty or delivery date system enables the firming checkbox in planned order.

This will tell you if the firming is caused automatically or manually. I am sure this will help you. Additional questions please feel free

in both cases I see the * for firmed planned order, but is there a way to identify on the first view im MD04 iif it is auto. or man. firmed. With out opening the firmed planned order to verify.

Dear ,

I do not think so you will able to identify both the Firmed planned order in MD04 at frist look .You need to go to Planned order Detail element check wether the Firming indicator check box marked or not.

Hi,

Carrying an asterisk after firming in MD04 is automatically system developed. Manually you will have discretion to make the firm or not.

Dear Jorg,

After MRP completion you can see in PLAF table user name as person who performs MRP

Then after some one manually changes plan order then again go to PLAF table and check the user name
