Unable to post Reverse Transactions

Former Member

Hello,

I find I am unable to execute a reverse transaction as when clicking on 'Execute' I get the following message: Date deviates from permissible range [Journal Entry - Value Date] [Message 173-11]

The posting date of this journal is 30/06/10. The reverse date is 01/07/10 (which falls within period 1 on the following year)

Upon checking my posting periods for June-10 it reads as follows:

Posting Date from 01.06.10 To 30.06.10

Due Date from 01.06.10 To 30.06.11

Document Date from 01.07.08 To 30.06.11

The period for June reads as follows:

Posting Date from 01.07.10 To 31.07.10

Due Date from 01.07.10 To 30.06.11

Document Date from 01.07.09 To 30.06.11

I can't see anything obvious as to what's wrong? Any help/advice would be a big help.

Regards,

Juan

hi juan

u can do this to permanently solve ur problem over and over

in the posting period window open the period code and in the due data write 01/04/2010 to 3103/2011 that would solve your problem

Having changed the due date start date to an earlier date, this resolved the issue.

Hi,

Due date is likely to be out of range, it must be 30.06.2010 in your JE. Due date for period July is from 01.07.2010. Either change the due date from JE 01.07.2010 or change due date start July posting period.

Thanks,

Sachin
