Hi,

Check there is no release class already assigned.

At any point only one release class can be used in the PO release strategy in a client.

Hi,

Please already have any release group for the same PO/PR.

If then you can assign or create 2 nd release group for PO. PR only Header /item level.

check your release class what release class type used (032)

then finally check the OMGSCK.. if any error showing .

if there any error then rectify that error.

I will explain you this with an example say there ia a scenario like this

If PO value is between one lakh to five lakh only Purchase clerk and purchase manager will approve.

If PO value is more than five lakh then along with Purchase clerk and Purchase manager General manager has to approve.

In this case you create two release groups and in one you assign only two codes that is clerk and pur manager and in classification you select one lakh to five lakh.

In another release group you assign clerk, pur manager and general manager and here in classification you select more than five lakhs.

Now release strategy will pick on value and if the value is within 1 to 5 lakhs only two codes will appear and if it is more than five lakh three codes will appear.

Like this we can use release groups.

One class only for PO as PO has just overall release, no item by item release for PO.

Check this definition which means 2 classes for PR, if you require both item and overall release.

The release procedure with classification must have been set up in Customizing for Purchasing.

In addition, a class with characteristics must have been created for each document (requisition,

purchase order, etc.).

If you wish to set up both the overall release procedure and the item-wise procedure for

requisitions, you must create one class for each procedure.

One class for item level release of PR.

One class for overall release for PO.

Both classes should be different as characteristics are assigned to class and characteristic should be different.

Hi,

You can not assign More than One Class to "Release Groups".

Create all the Characteristics for RFQ, Contract, PO etc for CEKKO table ...

Then Assign all these Characteristics to a Class...

Then maintain

Release Groups

Release Codes

Release indicator

But Create Diff Release Strategies for RFQ, Contract & PO...

for each Release Strategies you can maintain Same Release Group or Diff Release Group..

whenever you are trying to create Release Strategie, You will Blank Characteristics for that "Release Strategies",

There you can select the parameters.
