Could anybody give me an overview : of which type of GL Accounts are termed as balance Sheet accounts

and Profit & Loss Accounts ?according to FI Configuration For a chart of accounts 3 account types are avilabel

ZGEN :Genral Accounts

ZCASH : Cash accounts

ZP&L : Prfit and loss accounts

now shall i consider the otehr two as Balancesheet accounts?Since in FS00 whenevr i use any acccount :it shows the P&L radio button checked .

Hi,

The accounts which are having assets and liability nature is treated as Balance sheet accounts

The accounts which are having revenue and expenses nature is treated as P/L accounts

In sap, you can find which accounts related to B/s and P/L in SKA1 Table Field B/S account
