Hi Team,

I am trying to create a virtual provider in HANA studio by adding a SAP HANA view, but ended up with error.

Error message: "Error when getting results: insufficient privilege: Not Authorized"

Kindly let us know what kind of privilege we would require to add SAP HANA view??

Thanks in Advance,

Uma

As giselle.lin advised. you should use Composite Provider (HCPR). But even then you will get insufficient privilege error.

You need to add following Object Privileges to the database user profile:

1. Catalog Object: _SYS_REPO, Privilege: SELECT. Grantable to Others: No

2. Catalog Object: ACTIVE_OBJECT(_SYS_REPO), Privilege: SELECT, Grantable to Others: No.

Hi Uma,

Build virtual provider on hana view is the obsolete way to consume hana view. Please consider to use HCPR instead.
