Auth Object for displaying roles in BEx Web Analyzer

Hi,

I urgently need to know the auth object needed to see assigned reporting roles to an end user in Bex Web Analyzer in the Portal. When I click on Web Analyzer and "Open Analysis" and then click on Roles I dont see any of the assigned roles for that user.

Raj,

Are any of the queries assigned to the Role Menu ? Since you already mentioned the authorization to S_USER_AGR was there, I believe the next step is to ensure the access is on the role menu. To my understanding BEx (under the "Roles" button) only picks up roles with objects assigned to the role menu (ie Queries/Workbooks).

Thanks guys, In the end I found out it being a user role adjustment error. I had to adjust the roles

I'm facing the same issue, I can't see any role in de "Role" tab. Could you please tell me how did you do to fix the problem?

You set the authorization in BW for the objects and data, and then you enable Bex porfolio role in portal to access the Web Analyzer.

Guys,

I have facing the issue in Portal. As far as my knowledge goes I dont think SU53 shows errors thats occurs in portal Bex Web Analyzer sessions.

I tried using ST01 trace but it is checking for auth object S_USER_AGR and the object is already in a role assinged to the user.

Let me try to explain the issue a little more:

I have the Business Explorer Portal role assigned to a portal user. When I log in as the user and click on that role in Portal and then click on BEx Web Analyzer, I get an open template with no query loaded. Then when I click on "New Analysis" button I can see Bex queries in Favorites tab, Infoarea tab but when I click on Role tab I dont see any roles.

Dear Raj Biswas,

You can assign the Authorization Object "S_RS_AUTH -BI Analysis Authorizations in Role" with activates - 0BI_ALL for accessing the Queries. And "S_RS_COMP" & "S_RS_COMP1" for Business Explorer - Components. With activates -03 & 16.

and "S_RS_FOLD"-Business Explorer - Folder View On/Off. these authorization objects required to access the quires for display mode.

Apart form this you can give "S_RFC" -- Authorization Check for RFC Access.

once you get this error, goto su53 and check. you can see the missing authorization.
