GRN should give an error or inspection lot need to be by default in materi

Hi,

Problem : As we have done the GRN , if in material master inspection lot not maintained material goes in unrestricted directly.

Please help me is there way so for particular plant and material type combination we make some inspection lot default

or at the time of GRN , it should provide an error that inspection lot is not maintained for material and plant combination.

How to do it Please help me.

First of all if you want to do Quality Inspection set up based on Material type it will happen, in by putting some logic in function Module while goods receipt save.

However, better solution may be , if Material master Quality view is not maintained then there should be Warning Message for info.

Currently the stock is in quality?

If yes then if u doesn't find any inspection lot's Check whether u had assigned QM In Procurement and Qm Control Key in In QM view of Material master

If the stock is not posted to quality then check Post to Insp.Stock' Indicator has been ticked in Detailed Information on ur Inspection Type. If not maintianed, then maintian it.

You can solve this issue at material master itself. You need to make post to inspection or inspection setup fields madatory in t.code OMSR, and in OMS9. so that any GR made for those material will go to inspection stock

I can make such changes but this is valid for only particular material type .

As particular material type has no inspection lot and inspection active in particular plant.

So we want in material type and plant combination to activate it.

Material type and plant combination is not possible, applicable for all plants.

in omsr trx, identify the field ststus group.

IN oms9, against the particular material type you activate it.

Its true you can either make mandatory for plant or for material type. Not with the combination of both. So you should go for development which checkes during GR of particular material type and plant is going to QI stock or UR stock and give error message. You can try badi MB_MIGO_ITEM_BAdI

Yes. it is possible at olant level. Look at my first answer in t.code OMSR, and in OMS9 you make madatory for plant.

This setting of OMSR and OMS9 is applicable for material type level so it wll applicable for all plants.

But i have 1500 , 1530 plant for 1500 i want seeting of qa inspection type mandatory but not for 1530 .

So how can i do it , If document is available plz tell me.
