I am working on a report where I need to export the data in a customized XML format. Everything works fine in the developer (SAP Crystal Reports for Enterprise) and I am able to define and add my custom XML through File > Export > Manage XML Exporting formats. I also made sure that I set the default to this custom XML.
When I schedule the reports on the server (BI Launchpad), I do not get any prompt to choose the XML format to export so I assumed the custom XML format that I defined in the report will be used - since it is now the default for this report. However, Crystal spits out an XML file using the in-built Crystal Reports XML and not my custom XML.
Any ideas as to how I can force Crystal to use my custom XML would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading this!
