Hi Shruti,

in short: either define a number range that includes the transferred BP number, or transfer BPs that match the number range setup.

Error message: MDMCP003: Geschäftspartner &1: keine Anlage mit dieser externen Nummer moeglich.
Diagnosis: An attempt was made to post a business partner with an externally specified partner ID. However, this partner ID does not exist in an external number range.
System Response: The action is terminated, and the BP cannot be created with this number.
Procedure: You can correct the error using one of the following methods:
- In the case of an error in the sending system, change the specified partner ID.
- Create an external grouping that contains the specified number.
- This can be done, for example, using transaction SM30 with view V_TB001.

SCN Wiki: https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/x/IABLG also have the above description

***********************************************************************************************

Long Answer:

From the attachment I can see the message is referring to the Business Partner integration from ECC to SCM/APO/EWM/TM system.

The message is raised in the SCM side, in the /SAPAPO/CIF_LOC_INBOUND function module, that is receiving the Business Partner data from the ECC side because it could not create the business partner (and sends back the message to ECC so you can see it).

To find out more what happened go to SCM side and open SMQ2 transaction, where you will find a ''failed queue'' > open the queue and double click on the /SAPAPO/CIF_LOC_INBOUND FM then double click on the error message do display the whole text and the message number.

If it wont open, go to SLG1 transaction and search the message with the same time stamp of the CIF error.

You will find message: MDMCP003

Follow its long text instructions (available in SE91 transaction also.) See above.

With Best Regards,

Gergely Kocse

Firstly, I would like to thank you for your response.

When I open SMQ2 transaction on SCM side, I'm unable to find a "failed queue". Can you please help with that.

Thank you.

Hi Shruti - Did you click on the bell icon in SMQ2 transaction after loading only CF* queues? That should show you the failed queues.
