Decimal Issue Composite Provider on calculation view

Hi,

I am facing issue with decimal places for measures in composite provider on top of calculation view.In calculation view datatype for measures are taken as decimal(13,2).in composite provider also keyfigure datatype is decimal(13,2).

In calculation view results are showing correct in two decimal places but in composite provider decimals are showing zeros.

Please advise.

Hello, I have the same problem. I can see decimals in the calculation view but in the composite provider I can't see the decimals. I can't put a currency, as the link provided by Nora mentioned because they are only numbers (they are not amount or quantity).
Any other solution? thanks.

Hi,

If its calculated field then change the source fields to decimal before calculation and save it as decimal field.

Exp - if A and B is integer, C = decimal

17/7 = 2.42857 (C), this is giving correct result in HANA view but in composite its giving 2.000 as result.

Once 17 and 7 is changed to decimal as (to_decimal(17) / to_dcimal(7) = C (decimal), after this it was fine in composite provider.
