Refershing issue in Xcelsius.

Hello Experts,

I built a xcelsius dashboard on SAP BW query. My connection goes like this ...Dashboard-qaaws-universe-sap bw query-sap bw cube.

My dash board is working fine as i wish. My dashboard shouild be published on Infoview and users access it through infoview. Actually, the data changes every three days. So, i dont want the dashboard to refresh every time it runs. I found an option in xcelsius " refersh every" when i checked this option and unchecked " refersh on load" it not pulling the data.

Can any one let me know how to schedule data refresh in xcelsius and cache the reports. i really dont want the dash board to hit the data base every time it runs.

hi,

When you select the Refresh Every option then you need to set the time. Based on the time the dashboard will fetch the data from your data source. Its working fine for me.

Thanks for your quick reply, I tried to set this option before. My question is do i need to check Both " refresh on Load" and " Refersh every:specify time" options or only the second one. Because i need to refersh my dashboards once in three days. If i set the set the option to refersh every: 36 hours and hit the preview its not displaying the data. So , do i need to wait 3 days for dashboard to refersh first time.

I want the dashboard to refersh once in three days, How can i make it possible..Please help me in this regards.

If you select "Refresh On Load", it will refresh once you load the dashboard. Thne you can select "Refresh Every .." option to refresh the dashboard in every 36 hours.
