Mass Change of Pur Org in Info Record and Mark old Pur Org as Deletion

Hi

We have accidentally uploaded the Purchase Info Record to purchasing org ABC, instead of the correct purchasing org XYZ.

Question 01

Is there a mass change program for Purchase Info Record to update all the Pur. Org ABC to become XYZ?

Quesiton 02:

Other than developing LSMW for ME15 to mass deleting the Purchasing org ABC, is there any method I can do so?

I dont think that MEMASSIN can help in this case. It neither can be used to create records for a different purchasing organisation, nor to set a deletion indicator.

So you have to redo your upload with the correct Porg, and do another LSMW for ME15 to set the deletion flag at PORG level in the wrong records.

I have tested using MEMASSIN and found out the following

1. I am not able to perform mass change the Purchasing Ord ABC to XYZ due to the fact that the Mass Change Column at the top are grey out and I am not able to enter new value of XYZ to perform Mass Change

2. I imported one field "Purch. info: Purch. organization data flagged for deletion" and then I am able to put a TICK on this field to perform mass DELETION for the wrong purchasing org ABC for all my info record.

Just wonder how come it is grey out for me to mass change the purchasing org? The only master data holding them is Source List and there is no PO created yet! And if so, what is the purupose for this MEMASSIN if we are not able to perform mass change of purchasing org for the existing wrongly created pur. org.

it is never possible to change keys. the purchasing organisation is a key field in table EINE (puchasing org segment of info record).

I have run se16n to check on table "EINE", and it lists down all the fields inside it such as Purch. group

-Currency

-Vol.rebate ind.

-Quantity rebate

-Minimum qty

-Standard qty.

-Plnd dely time

-Overdeliv. tol.

-Unlimited

-Underdel. tol.

-Quotation

-Quotation from

-RFQ

-Item

-Rejection ind.

So in the conclusion, we cannot use MEMASSIN to change Purhcasing Org value from ABC to XYZ, we can only use it to change the data inside purchasing org such as purchasing group, GR-based invoice indicator and etc.

Is it correct?
