Authorization to change marketing permissions on contact (Business Object CUAN_MARKETING_PERMISSION)

Hello together,

we need to create a business role where the user just has the right to see the contact profile and to change the marketing permissions.

Currently we have created a role with the following catalogues assigned:

When trying to change the permissions (opt-in to opt-out and vice versa) we receive the following error message:

Does anybody know what to do here. Inside the role the restricion is for a specific marketing area and the attribute country is set to unrestricted.

When adding the catalog SAP_CEC_BC_MKT_CPM2_PC (Campaign Management) the permissions can be edited but this users just should be able to see contact profile via Mashup and change the permissions and not create target groups or campaigns.

Hi Oliver,

Not sure whether this will resolve your issue, but can you pls try to add following catalog as well to your user role:

SAP_CEC_BC_MKT_API_IA_PC

Because when changing the marketing permission a new interaction is being posted to the system and this could be causing error.
