Quick links in sap portal

Hi Experts,

Could you please anyone give me the configuration steps for enabling quick links in sap portal. Actually I have followed the steps as mentioned below but I didn't get expected result means can't able to navigate with the URL: http//portal IP:port number/irj/portal/Quicklink name

Steps:

1. Open the iView properties-->select quick link property and enter the quick link name-->Save.

2. Now assign the iView to anyquicklink1.pngquick-link2.png role and assign that role to user.

3.Tried to access the quick link with the URL http//portal IP:port number/irj/portal/Quicklink name. But it will opens the logon page not quick link.

Please assist me on this.

Hi Radha

I did a testing internally and I see that the Quick link was working correctly. Can you please make sure that the below points are taken into consideration :

- User should be logged in to the portal

- Quicklinks are case sensitive

- The iview should be part of the role that is assigned to the user.

- User has the permission to view the content of the Iview.
