Migrating PAS from windows to Linux in NW740 JAVA

Hello Experts,

we have a situation where we have NW java 740 SPS12 portal system with PAS running on windows and DB host running on linux machine.

Now we need to move our PAS on a new linux host but DB remains as it is. Can you please help how should we do this switch?

Follow the system copy procedure to move the PAS from Windows to Linux. This will take care of modifying all the hostname entries in the files like profiles and other Java instance properties file.

Did you tried installing it in to new Linux? It should be easy to switch since its APP instance
