Date format in Email notifiaction

Hi All,

My requirement is to add the format of the date field to avoid confusion for the recipient(s) of the notification.

if date that is pulled is displayed as 06.05.2009 in email, then it should be appear as

date: 06.05.2009 Date format : DD.MM.YYYY.

if date that is pulled is displayed as 05/06/2009 in email, then it should be appear as

date: 05/06/2009 Date format : MM/DD/YYYY.

My question is from where i will get date format of the recipient(s). recipient can be a partner or bidder(supplier).

Hi Skumar

when you crerate a bidder

you may get three tab like company data, personal data and vendor data

go to persoanl data

User data per Employee

DATE FORMAT mm/dd/yy as desired you can seelct.

otherwise

go to su01

type bidder contact person id

and go to default

date format..

Please tell me any function module or table which will give me above employee date format information using partner id or partner guid.

Hi Muthu,

I have partner id , how do i get username BNAME from partner id. In BUT000 table i can see BNAME field.But no data is maintain.

Please advice.
