ESS/MSS configuration as a BASIS Admin

Hi gurus

Aa a Basis Consultant I installed EP 7.0 successfully on windows 2003 database Db2.

What are the Configuration to be done for ESS/MSS.

Hi Bala,

Thanks for document. I follewed the doc and configured the EP for ESS/MSS.

Now I want to configure ADS and SSL . Is there any doc to configure this.

I have one question. While installation seleted EP,EPcore and DI, ASJAVA.

Now Can I use NWDS in the sever or Do i need to install in clinet mechine.

These are the users exists in my server.

NWDI_ADM, NWDI_CMSADM,NWDI_DEV. I am able to login to this users but i am not able to see any tabs.

2)SLD is in solution manager.

3)How to get all the users from R3 to portal. Is there any procedure to get all the users automatically.

I dont have seperate LDAP server.

4) I want to apply the support packages. What are the compents i have to apply.

5) I want to take the backup. I have taken database backup but What are the files to take the backup.

(usr/sap/SID is enough do i need to take any other files for restore if any probelm while applying the support packages).
