When we import order to the productive system , the tp takens a lot of runtime to pass the order , this start to happen a moth ago , before we didn´t have problems with the 'tp import' but now the 'tp import' takes a lot of time to pass the order even the order is small. We dont have change the kernel.

Can you help me ,

Slow tp imports can be from any number of reasons. Have you looked at the tp log in STMS (can you post it here)?

tp opens a separate connection to the db so running a test on the system using 'R3trans -d' might provide some clues. Another place to look is the file system. Run some quick tests on the shared directories ('dir' or 'ls' should work) to see the slowdown may be created by the NFS/Windows folder share.

    Hope that is helpful,

    J. Haynes

    Hi,

    Do you use Windows ?

If yes, check this note [Note 690449 - Transport buffer lock file (.LOB) remains blocked on Windows|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/690449]

This note was created from my company's problem on SAP R/3 4.7. It took months to solve and the solution was only to change the EOF character in the transport buffer file.

Microsoft sent us a specialist who found the problem on site after instrumenting our transport host with a live debugger....

    Regards,

    Olivier

      Hi,

Did you check workload analysis for that time period (ST03N)? I am not sure this will help you directly but may give you some clues.

    Hi ,

When we transport to the consolidation system we dont have problems , the tp and R3trans are the same version , the problems start to happen a moth ago with the same tp and r3trans , before with the same versions we dindt have problems .

    Thank a lot
